Belarus-Russia business forum begins at Innoprom expo in Russia's Yekaterinburg

The Russia-Belarus Industrial Cooperation Business Forum has kicked off at the International Industrial Fair Innoprom 2023 in Yekaterinburg, BelTA has learned.

The Russia-Belarus Industrial Cooperation Business Forum was organized by the Industry Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

Speaking at the plenary session of the forum will be Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik, as well as heads of a number of Belarusian enterprises.

Four documents are to be signed in a solemn ceremony during the business forum. These are the cooperation agreement in the machine-tool industry between the governments of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the agreement on mutual understanding and cooperation between BelAZ – BelAZ Holding Company and the Russian Export Center, the cooperation agreement between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Export Center, as well as the comprehensive interdepartmental program in aircraft manufacturing.

A reminder, the business program of the Innoprom expo includes over 100 events and 350 speakers. B2B negotiations are supposed to take place during the expo. Participants of the national exposition and foreign partners are expected to sign over 60 documents.
