Belarus, Nicaragua sign agreement on export loans

A number of bilateral documents were signed following the talks between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik and Nicaraguan Minister of Foreign Affairs Denis Moncada Colindres in Minsk on 19 May, BelTA has learned.

Representatives of the two countries signed a general intergovernmental agreement on export loans and an agreement on cooperation in education.

During the talks, Sergei Aleinik stressed that Belarus and Nicaragua are aimed at a serious intensification of political interstate dialogue and trade and economic cooperation.

“In economic terms, we are primarily talking about the development of industrial cooperation, the use of Belarusian agricultural technologies in the development of Nicaraguan agriculture, and the supply of passenger and road construction equipment to the Nicaraguan market,” the minister said.
