The export of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) to Russia in January-May rose by more than 40% year-on-year, BelTA has informed.

“Russia remains a key partner for MTZ. BELARUS 82.3 and BELARUS 1222.3 tractors are still the most popular tractor models. There is also an increase in demand for farm machinery with a capacity of 150-200 hp - this type of equipment used to be supplied to Russia by Western companies. BELARUS 3522 tractors designed for power-intensive agricultural operations are also in demand,” said Deputy Marketing Director Mikhail Vardugin.

In addition to that, BELARUS utility tractors are also widely known in Russia. Last year, MTZ supplied more than 850 utility tractors to St. Petersburg. The demand remains high through this year.
