Belarus has introduced licensing for the export of glass and glass products. This decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 322 as of 18 May that was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA informs.

The document establishes that the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade in agreement with the Architecture and Construction Ministry will issue one-time licenses for the export of glass and products from it to markets outside the Eurasian Economic Union if these goods are placed under the export customs procedure.

A legal entity and an individual entrepreneur who want to get a license shall submit a number of documents to the Architecture and Construction Ministry: an application, a document confirming the right to represent the interested person, a certificate of own production issued by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or its enterprises, as well as a copy of a foreign trade contract.

The approval of the export licenses by the Architecture and Construction Ministry will be free of charge. The ministry will have five working days to process the documents and decide whether to approve the license or not.

Licensing will be valid for six months.
