This year Belarus has increased exports of agricultural products to Russia and China, Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.

According to the minister, the country has an excess of food products. “We export almost 60% of all milk, meat and grain produced,” he said.

“This year we have been increasing [exports] both to Russia and China. We have got nearly 115% growth in the first four months of 2023 compared with the same stretch a year ago. On some items we increase the export in real terms, in money terms,” Igor Brylo said.

“Of course, the market is getting crowded. We must admit it. We must look for new markets,” he added.
