According to Mikhail Myatlikov, Belarus and Tambov Oblast have been steadily developing bilateral cooperation. “Last year the trade between Belarus and Tambov Oblast exceeded $170 million - an increase of about 65% compared to 2021. In H1 2023, our exports went up by another 35% compared to the same period in 2020. This proves that the events held under the auspices of the BelCCI will bear fruit in the future,” he said.
On 28 August the Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the Tambov Oblast Chamber of Commerce and Industry are set to sign an agreement during a meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Tambov Oblast, which is expected to take place as part of the working visit of Head of the Russian region Maxim Yegorov. “We continue our activities outlined at the Forum of Regions. We are receiving a large business delegation - more than 40 people (about 20 companies and a number of state-owned organizations). A big number of Belarusian companies are also attending the forum. The Minsk branch of the BelCCI signed an agreement with the Tambov Oblast Chamber earlier,” the chairman of the BelCCI said.
The business forum of Belarus and Russia's Tambov Oblast is held to discuss topical issues and promising areas of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The plenary part of the forum was attended by Chairman of the BelCCI Mikhail Myatlikov, Taxes and Duties Minister Sergei Nalivaiko, Tambov Oblast Governor Maxim Yegorov, President of the Tambov Oblast Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Voronina.
