Lukashenko extends Father’s Day greetings, praises fathers as family pillars

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Father’s Day greetings to Belarusian men, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.

“This holiday embodies the special role of a man as a protector and reliable support of the family, whose knowledge, experience and strength serve as an example to follow,” the message of greetings reads. “A caring and loving father is able to teach honest work and service to the Motherland, to make decisions and take responsibility for them, to overcome any difficulties and confidently achieve his goals.”
The head of state wished everyone health, happiness and wellbeing: “Always remain faithful and wise companions to your loved ones, ready at any moment to stand up in defense of your family and the country.”
“May the joy of fatherhood fill the family hearth with harmony and accord, and inspire you and your loved ones to good deeds for the benefit of our native Belarus,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
