Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin has held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the seventh Belarusian People's Congress, BelTA has learned.

"There is not much time left before the second meeting of the VII Belarusian People's Congress, so today we need to check the hours for all previously planned events included in the preparation schedule. In addition, a meeting of the Presidium of the Belarusian People's Congress was held on November 25, 2025. Based on its results, first of all, it was decided to submit a draft agenda for consideration at the second meeting of the VII Belarusian People's Congress. The key milestones of this event are the address of the head of state, the approval of the program of socio-economic development for the next five years and a number of other issues. Today we will discuss the preparations for this important event," Alexander Turchin said.
In addition, the exhibition of achievements "My Belarus" will open at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO on the eve of the meeting of the National Assembly. "We should also listen today to the preparations for its opening," the Prime Minister said.
The second session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Congress will be held in Minsk on December 18-19.
