On 11 March, Minsk will host a meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union on Agricultural Issues

On 11 March 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Minsk (in the conference hall of the Parliamentary Assembly at 11 Sovetskaya Street), a meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly devoted to agricultural issues will be held. The event will be attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The parliamentarians will receive information on the progress in preparing joint proposals for the development of Union State programmes, including the project ‘Creation of a complex of automated and robotized machines, equipment and digital technologies for dairy farming’ (‘Intelligent Farm-SG’) and the project ‘Development of robotized technical means for industrial horticulture’ (‘Horticulture-SG’). The commission members will also consider the expediency of creating a joint project to develop hardware and software for accumulation, analysis and processing of selection data of egg chickens, as well as a progressive breeding programme with a focus on individual traits of poultry selection.
In addition, the deputies will discuss the implementation of priority areas to ensure the security of the Union State in the formation of a common agricultural policy.
