Mezentsev spoke about the preparation of events for the 25th anniversary of the Union State

The main events for the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State, which will be celebrated in December, will be meetings of the Supreme State Council (HCG) and the Council of Ministers of the Union State. Dmitry Mezentsev, State Secretary of the Union State, told reporters about this, BelTA reports.

"The 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State is a great holiday and a very significant event in scale. Both the meeting of the Council of Ministers and the meeting of the Supreme State Council, at which the results of the work of partner ministries and departments on the integration agenda will be presented to the heads of state and government, are probably the most important events," Dmitry Mezentsev said.
The SG Secretary of State said that before these events, two meetings of the High-level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State will be held, at which practical issues are always resolved. One of them will be held at the end of September in Minsk.
In addition, on December 8, on the day of signing the union agreement, maestro Valery Gergiev and one of his teams are scheduled to arrive in Minsk. According to Mezentsev, a tour of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Moscow is scheduled before that.
