Belarus president’s press conference draws 8.8m viewers on Russia’s Mir TV channel

The broadcast of the Belarusian president's press conference Big Conversation with the President attracted an estimated 8.8 million viewers on Russia’s Mir TV channel, BelTA learned from MIRBY Telegram channel.

“The TV viewing of the press conference among all TV viewers from Russia accounted for 3.19%, which is 79% up the average share (1.78%) of the Mir TV channel for the past period of 2021. The channel registered a peak audience of 4.58%,” Mir television company said.

Live broadcast of Aleksandr Lukashenko’s press conference attracted high interest in Kazakhstan as well. The share of TV viewing was 5.2%, with the peak viewership reaching 11.2%.

The data were provided by the official media measurement tools of Russia and Kazakhstan.
