Belarus plans to increase business co-operation with Volgograd Oblast

Belarus and Volgograd Region are stepping up co-operation in business. To this end, an export business mission of a delegation of Belarusian business circles is taking place in Volgograd from 10 to 14 March, BelTA informs.

The export business mission was organised by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Union ‘Volgograd Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry’. The event was supported by the Committee for Economic Policy and Development, the Committee for Industry and Fuel and Energy, the Committee for Health Care and the Committee for Agriculture of the Volgograd Region.

The visit included bilateral talks at the Volgograd Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at developing co-operation in the industrial sector. The host country also offered a separate programme for the medical sector.

The Belarusian representatives visited Volgograd enterprises focusing on their interests. Each company held from 12 to 15 individual meetings. As a result, preliminary agreements were reached on supplies of cosmetic goods, refrigeration equipment, agricultural machinery and spare parts to Volgograd.
