Belarus’ first route train with cement goes to Russia's Udmurtia

Belarusian Cement Company (BCC) is expanding the geography of cement supplies in Russia. According to Andrei Limarov, head of logistics at BCC, the first BCC route train with cement, consisting of 42 hopper cars of OAO Krichevcementnoshifer, went to Russia's Udmurt Republic in July 2024, BelTA has learned from the company.

"The route is 1,873km long. Previously, BCC route trains traveled for about 1,000km along Moscow and Oktyabrskaya railways," Andrei Limarov said.
Belarusian Cement Company independently operates almost 2,000 railway cars. Over 1,100 are owned by the company. During the summer period, BCC launched 15 route trains, making 26-27 shipments to Russia within a month. Major sales regions are Moscow and Moscow Oblast, the Central Federal District and the North-Western Federal District.
