A meeting of the Commission on Agrarian Issues of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia will be held in Minsk on March 11

On March 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Minsk (in the conference hall of the Parliamentary Assembly at 11 Sovetskaya Street), a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on agrarian issues will be held. The event will be attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Parliamentarians will receive information on the preparation of joint proposals for the development of programs of the Union State, including the project "Creation of a complex of automated and robotic machines, equipment and digital technologies for dairy farming" ("Intelligent Farm-SG") and the project "Development of robotic technical means for industrial gardening" ("Gardening-SG"). The members of the commission will also consider the feasibility of creating a joint project to develop hardware and software tools for the accumulation, analysis and processing of breeding data from egg hens, as well as a progressive breeding program with an emphasis on individual characteristics of poultry selection. In addition, the deputies will discuss the implementation of priority areas for ensuring the security of the Union State in the field of forming a common agrarian policy.
