Over 150 new solutions and technologies will be displayed at the exhibition Smart Belarus at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) on 7 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the NASB.

The exposition will feature three clusters related to the priorities in scientific development. These are IT Country. Scientific Support in Economic Digitalization, Overcoming COVID-19, and Future Technologies.

Thus, the NASB Institute of Physics will present a laser-optical defect analyzer Luch 54, designed to check the surface of polished plates used to produce microelectronic products (chips, sensors, including those for space and military industries).

The NASB Research and Development Center on Material Science will showcase electromagnetic and radiation shielding screens based on composite materials. They are of interest to minimize the impact of ionizing radiation (electrons, protons, gammas) on the semiconductor component base operating in extreme conditions of Earth and near-Earth space (geostationary orbit of the Earth).

A number of new solutions will be on show in the Overcoming COVID-19 section of the exhibition. The NASB Institute of Physiology will feature equipment for heated oxygen-helium mixture in the complex therapy of respiratory and cardiovascular pathologies for clinical and outpatient treatment of SARS-CoV-2, and also hardware-software complex GPS-Cardio. The NASB Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems will show electrete fibrous filtering melt-blown materials for respiratory protection and perspective filtering material for medical masks and cartridges for respirators based on fibrous-porous fluoroplastic Griftex.

The NASB Geoinformation Systems will showcase a multilevel system of the earth remote sensing and the Russian-Belarusian high-resolution spacecraft at the Future Technologies section.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will present the country concept of the scientific achievements exhibition Smart Belarus.

The event is organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
