Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Uzbekistan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Under your leadership, the country is confidently moving along the path of socio-economic development, actively participates in addressing issues on the regional agenda, and is strengthening its position on the world stage,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Minsk and Tashkent are firmly bound by the ties of brotherhood and cooperate effectively in various fields. “The achieved level of partnership allows us to enter third-country markets and provide mutual support on the platforms of multilateral structures,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.The head of state is convinced that through joint efforts, Belarus and Uzbekistan will continue to consistently build up constructive bilateral relations for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries, in the spirit of centuries-old friendship and unwavering trust.

The Belarusian president wished the president of Uzbekistan further success in his responsible state activities, as well as wellbeing and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.
