PHOTOfact: Belarusian media visited Minsk's 11th City Clinical Hospital

10:33, 4 September

The 11th City Clinical Hospital is currently a multidisciplinary, modern inpatient facility. It combines long-standing traditions with aspects of modern medicine that are incorporated into clinical practice on an almost daily basis.

Currently, the hospital has a total capacity of 630 beds, comprising both surgical and rehabilitation units; of these, 325 beds are dedicated to surgery.

During their visit, journalists were also introduced to the operations of the trauma and orthopedics department. The department performs approximately 2,000 surgeries annually, including around 400–450 hip replacements and about 250 knee replacements. Other procedures range from minimally invasive interventions—such as arthroscopy—to complex reconstructive and orthopedic correction surgeries aimed at restoring function.
