The Ministry of Defense: training of parade crews for the May 9 parade will begin at Lipki airfield on March 18.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, starting from Tuesday, March 18, and for five weeks at the Lipki airfield, trainings for parade crews of equipment participating in the military parade in Minsk on May 9, 2025 will take place.

The ministry explained that due to the movement of equipment to the training site and back in the capital, traffic restrictions are introduced at certain hours.

In particular, in the morning, for an hour, starting at 04:50 until the moment of moving the equipment, there will be traffic restrictions along the route: Osnovatelei St. – Starinovskaya St. – Franziska Skaryna St. – the outer ring of the MKAD – the turn to the Zelenaya Gavan residential complex – the highway to the Lipki airfield.

Further, in the evenings, from 19:50 until the moment of moving equipment (≈1 hour), restrictions will be on the route: Lipki airfield – the outer ring of the MKAD – Franziska Skorina St. – Starinovskaya St. – Osnovatelei St.
