Grodno Oblast signs cooperation agreements with Russian regions

Grodno Oblast signed agreements with Russian regions on cooperation in various avenues. The solemn ceremony took place during a ceremony to launch the Days of Grodno Oblast at VDNKh in Moscow on 5 March, BelTA has learned.

For example, the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee signed two documents: a cooperation agreement with the Sport Ministry of Smolensk Oblast and a protocol of intent with the Culture and Tourism Ministry of Smolensk Oblast. Volkovysk District signed a twinning agreement with Vyazma District of Smolensk Oblast on cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology in education, youth policy and manufacturing industry. In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Konus company at the Research and Production Center for Agricultural Mechanization of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian enterprise KM-profile.

Governor of Grodno Oblast Vladimir Karanik noted that the region is interested in cooperation with Russian regions in all formats. "We are actively working with Russian regions. We have already signed 29 cooperation agreements," he told the media.
