Lukashenko sends professional day greetings to energy workers

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired energy industry workers on their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“You work in a strategically important branch of the domestic economy and you can rightfully be proud of your achievements. The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is up and running, the network infrastructure is constantly being upgraded. As a result, we have enough energy to power our economy and homes and to export the rest,” the head of state noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that the accumulated expertise and knowledge will allow the energy system to keep setting ambitious tasks and effectively achieving them, contributing to the development and prosperity of Belarus.

The president wished everyone good health, prosperity, new professional successes and happiness.
