Belarus updates composition of collegiate bodies based on portfolio principle

Belarusian President Aleksnadr Lukashenko signed Decree No.309 “On Changes to the Composition of Collegiate Bodies” on 18 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The document updates the membership of collegial bodies within the State Control Committee, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Investigative Committee, the State Forensic Examination Committee, the National Statistical Committee, the Higher Attestation Commission, the Internal Affairs Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the State Authority for Military Industry, the State Border Committee, and the State Customs Committee, as well as other collegiate bodies, including the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences, the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission, and the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The updated composition has been formed primarily based on the portfolio principle (without listing individual names), which will minimize adjustments during personnel reshuffles.
