Lukashenko, Putin discuss regional situation following Alaska talks

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation on 17 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The heads of state reviewed the regional developments in the wake of the recent Alaska negotiations. The Russian president informed his Belarusian counterpart in detail about the outcomes of the Russia-U.S. summit.

The leaders also addressed specific matters concerning Belarus-Russia bilateral relations during their conversation.
