Lukashenko, Putin discuss situation in and around Belarus, coronavirus issues

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation this afternoon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The presidents discussed the situation in and around Belarus, especially in the western direction.

The heads of state discussed the coronavirus-related issues and agreed that citizens of Belarus will voluntarily take part in the third stage of trials of the Russian vaccine. Belarus will also be the first country to receive this vaccine.
