Lukashenko, Putin agree to meet in near future

A telephone conversation between Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin took place on 30 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The heads of state discussed all the most important issues, including bilateral cooperation and the situation in Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin also talked over the situation around Belarus.

The two leaders agreed to hold a meeting in the near future, which is to take place during Aleksandr Lukashenko's visit to Moscow.
