Belarus' PM to visit Uganda and Qatar

Belarus' Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will pay official visits to Uganda and Qatar on 20-24 February, BelTA has learned.

During his visit to Uganda, Roman Golovchenko will have a one-on-one meeting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, while members of Belarus' official delegation will hold talks with their Ugandan counterparts. International documents are planned to be signed following these talks.

The Belarusian head of government will meet with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Qatar. A number of other meetings with the country's leadership are  also planned.

Roman Golovchenko's official visits to Uganda and Qatar are part of the government's consistent efforts to promote cooperation with distant countries. In 2024, the prime minister visited Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Oman and Pakistan.
