The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China formation, informs the President's press office.

‘The past nearly three quarters of a century is permanently marked in China's multi-thousand-year history as a time of great triumphs, patriotic consolidation and rapid advancement. Over this period, your state has achieved remarkable results, showing the world a vivid example of dedication, perseverance and constructive labour, which have become the key to success in political, socio-economic and cultural and humanitarian development, - stated the congratulatory statement.

The head of state noted that contemporary China is one of the major players on the world stage, a major industrial country with enormous human and scientific-technical capacity.

"At the leadership of the Communist Party, You are confidently leading the People's Republic of China to achieve the goal of the second century - to create a modern and powerful socialist state,’ the President emphasised. - The intensive cooperation between Minsk and Beijing in all areas proves the firmness of the Belarusian-Chinese relations and fully reveals the potential of an everlasting and comprehensive strategic partnership," - the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping spirit vigour and further successes in his governmental work, and also expressed his best wishes for peace, wellbeing and prosperity to the fraternal Chinese people.
