Minsk mayor reveals city development plans

Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev told the media what issues were discussed during his meeting with the president of Belarus on 14 April, BelTA has learned.

On Monday Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev to receive his report. According to the mayor, a lot of issues related to the development of the city and urban infrastructure were discussed.

“The key issue was the economy of the city of Minsk, its further expansion, and efforts to enter new markets. This area is of high importance, because the economy is the foundation of the region's development. Today we can confidently say that we keep the previous year’s pace. I think the work in this area will be continued,” Vladimir Kukharev told journalists.
