Kochanova: Lukashenko, Putin love their countries endlessly

10:53, 20 July

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin love their Fatherlands, their people endlessly and devote themselves fully to promoting the national interests, Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova told BelTA.

“I sincerely believe that Belarusians and Russians are incredibly lucky to have such wise leaders – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and President of Russia Vladimir Putin. These are exceptional politicians, such leaders are born rather than made. They love their Fatherlands, their people immensely, they devote themselves fully to promoting the national interests. Today when you look at some countries, you feel very sorry for innocent people who are literally forced to survive because of the insane policies of their official leadership. You get aghast at the very thought of what could have happened if the Belarusians and the Russians had had the same kind of governments as in these countries. It is obvious: Belarus and Russia could simply have ceased to exist on the world map,” Natalya Kochanova said.

“In turn, it is our task and moral duty as officials, public figures and ordinary citizens not to let the Belarusian and Russian leaders down. We must learn from them how to build a mutually respectful equal partnership and human friendship, value and cherish these relations, ensure their continuity from generation to generation,” the speaker emphasized.
