Integration is impossible without interaction at the regional level, St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov told reporters following his meeting with Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova, BelTA has learned.

“I am grateful to Natalya Ivanovna for a wonderful meeting. We often meet in St. Petersburg when she comes. And I would like to note that the interaction between the parliaments of Russia and Belarus gives an additional impetus, opens up cooperation opportunities in absolutely all areas, including healthcare, youth policy, manufacturing, in other words, all sectors that contribute to the development of our countries. And the most important things are safeguarding and promoting people’s interests, improving the quality of life. This is one of the main issues,” said Alexander Beglov.
