"The creation of the information and cultural center of the Union State is very important for our work," State Secretary of the Union State Sergey Glazyev told reporters before the start of the conference "Time of the Union State: Cultural and Information Space" in Vitebsk, the Soyuz.by correspondent reports.

Answering a question from journalists regarding the creation of the tourist information center of the Union State in Smolensk, Sergey Glazyev emphasized that this issue is an essential element of the work within the framework of the Union State.
"I would like this center to be in demand, to be equipped with modern information technologies," said the Secretary of the Union State.
He noted the mutual exchange of information about cultural values, historical monuments, as well as places of joint exploits important for the common history of the two states as another important element of the information and cultural space of Belarus and Russia.
"Therefore, the creation of the information and cultural center of the Union State is very important for our work. I hope that we will make progress on this issue today. There is a project that should be finalized today, based on the need to use modern digital technologies so that it is not just a building with beautiful booklets, but a convenient information environment with applications in user-friendly phones. So that tourists can use such information services in every place of our vast Union State, understand where they are, what interesting things they can see, and the best guides could help them remotely," concluded Sergey Glazyev.
