Over 9.4m tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, threshed in Belarus

Belarus has threshed more than 9.4 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

As of 10 November, Belarus harvested 9,401,600 tonnes of grain, including rapeseed.

Corn was harvested from 237,100 hectares of land. Some 1,968,3800 tonnes of corn kernels were threshed, with the yields averaging 83 centners per hectare. Some 22,787,600 tonnes of corn for silage were cropped so far.

Belarus removed 4,572,800 tonnes of sugar beet from 94,500 hectares, with the yields standing at 484.1 centners per hectare.

Belarus harvested a total of 174,100 tonnes of vegetables from the area of 5,580 hectares. The yield is 311.9 centners per hectare

Some 9,229,700 tonnes of grass was cropped, which is 95.5% of the target.
