Over 9.3m tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, cropped in Belarus

Belarus has harvested 9,350,200 tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Harvesting of corn kernels is in progress in all the regions of the country, with 232,200 hectares of land already cleared. Some 1,922,500 tonnes of corn kernels were threshed, with the yields averaging 82.8 centners per hectare. Some 22,751,100 tonnes of corn for silage were cropped so far.

Belarus has removed 4,429,300 tonnes of sugar beet from 91,800 hectares, with the yields standing at 482.3 centners per hectare.

Belarus has harvested a total of 168,600 tonnes of vegetables from the area of 5,430 hectares. The yield is 310.8 centners per hectare

Some 9,195,200 tonnes of grass was cropped, which is 95.1% of the target.
