Irina Novikova, head of the department of management, business technologies and sustainable development of Belarusian State Technical University, spoke about the export of Belarusian agricultural products in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.

“The Russian market is the most preferable for Belarus. With the certificate you earn $150 million on the Russian market. Today, for example, Polish dairy producers are faced with the task of reaching the Chinese market. It is quite a difficult task. Polish government also subsidizes its producer, if he or she exports products not even to the EU market, but further,” said Irina Novikova.

In her words, Belarusian agricultural producers, primarily dairy farmers, are going to the Middle East. “We train students in international management. They develop projects to promote Belarusian products abroad. This year we had a very good project on the supply of the Bellakt infant formula to Pakistan. When my thesis student was doing this project I asked her if they would really buy it. The market analysis showed that there is a shortage of these products there,” said Irina Novikova.
