These are Amkodor loaders, MAZ dump trucks, MTZ tractors and trolleybuses made from MAZ vehicle kits.
"It is very important for us to be here, in Ufa, on the eve of the main holiday of Bashkortostan [the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan is celebrated on 11 October] and participate in this ceremony. Here we see a wide line-up of vehicles: passenger, cargo, road construction, utility. They will serve the interests of Bashkortostan and the economy of the republic. We, Belarusians, are very happy and honored to be your comprehensive supplier of equipment," Roman Golovchenko said.
Radiy Khabirov stressed the importance of today's ceremony. "We have a good tradition of making gifts to our citizens before the holidays. The availability of utility vehicles is a guarantee that our cities will be clean and well-groomed. There are also trolleybuses. Very soon we will see them humming along the streets of Ufa. This will undoubtedly make our city even more beautiful. All these gifts were made in Belarus, which is our cousin nation," he said.
The Belarusian prime minister noted that cooperation with Bashkortostan in the manufacturing sector has been going well. "Last year the head of Bashkortostan and I inaugurated a MAZ dealership. More than 120 units of equipment have been sold since then," he said.
As an example of industrial cooperation, the Belarusian head of government cited the production of Gorozhanin trolleybus by Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant. "I am sure that it has a great future not only in Bashkortostan but also in neighboring regions," Roman Golovchenko added.
