On September 9, the Bank of Russia issued commemorative coins for the 25th anniversary of the Union State

On September 9, 2024, commemorative coins "25 years since the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State". A silver coin with a face value of 3 Russian rubles and a coin made of copper-nickel alloy with a color coating with a face value of 25 Russian rubles have been put into circulation, the official portal of the Bank of Russia reports.

The obverse of the coins depicts the state coat of arms of Russia, as well as the inscriptions "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", "BANK OF RUSSIA", denomination, year of issue, information about the metal and alloy sample, the mint mark and the mass of the precious metal.

The reverse of the coins is decorated with a color image of the symbols of the 25th anniversary of the Union State, as well as the national flags of Belarus and Russia, located against the background of Belarusian and Russian ornaments.

The circulation of the silver coin is 3 thousand pieces, the copper-nickel coin is 50 thousand pieces. The new coins are legal tender in Russia and are required to be accepted at face value in all types of payments.
