Moscow to host Belarus-Russia ministerial meeting on 14-15 December

A joint meeting of the Russian and Belarusian foreign ministry collegiums will be held in Moscow on 14-15 December, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing on 12 December November, BelTA has learned.

"On 14-15 December, Moscow will host a joint meeting of the Russian and Belarusian foreign ministry collegiums chaired by Sergey Lavrov [Russian Foreign Minister] and Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik," Maria Zakharova said.

According to her, the meeting is set to consider bilateral foreign policy cooperation, Eurasian security, and political, trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia with the states of Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean.

"Following the meeting, the parties are expected to sign a number of joint documents, including a program of coherent actions in foreign policy for 2024-2026," Maria Zakharova added.
