“We have come to this ancient and happy city for the Slavianski Bazaar festival. We are feeling these emotions, the joy of communication and we are fully aware of the common roots of our friendship, history and Slavic brotherhood that keeps the doors open for those who want to be with us regardless of religion, experience, distance. We cannot do otherwise. Thanks to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, the government, all other people who care, we managed to maintain amazing communication and we really enjoy the performances by talented people from Belarus and Russia at Slavianski Bazaar. It is crucial that our national leaders have a common position on Slavic brotherhood and cultural and humanitarian interaction,” Dmitry Mezentsev emphasized.
He added that the concert is dedicated to composer, People's Artist of the USSR Igor Luchenok. He was an amazing person and a really talented composer who achieved incredible results, he said. It is also a tribute to two nations who honor their common history and look to the future together.
