Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Russian Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev in Minsk on 6 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the topical issues of the Belarusian-Russian relations in a number of areas, integration cooperation, and the course of the election campaign in Belarus,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
The parties also discussed the participation of Russian representatives in the CIS election observation mission in Belarus.
