Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova and Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia's Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko have held a telephone conversation. The information about it was posted on the website of the upper chamber of the Russian parliament.

“The speakers discussed preparations for the upcoming Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia scheduled for late September this year,” the website informs.
They also touched upon interaction within the framework of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly taking into account specific events planned for the end of 2020.
