Belarus, Russia to further coordinate train, flight schedules

Belarus and Russia will further agree the schedules of passenger rail service and new flights which are to resume from 8 February and the terms of passenger service, reads the post published on the website of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia, BelTA learned.

"The schedule of new flights, the train schedule and the terms of passenger service will be further agreed by the appropriate agencies of Belarus and Russia," the statement reads.

In accordance with the resolution of the Russian government, passenger rail service Minsk-Moscow-Minsk, Moscow - Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad - St. Petersburg via Minsk will be resumed on a reciprocal basis on 8 February 2021. The number of regular flights between Moscow and Minsk will be increased from three to five per week on a reciprocal basis as from 8 February 2021. The air service from Rostov-on-Don and St. Petersburg to Minsk (one flight per week) from each airport will be resumed too.
