“Amidst a huge pressure associated with the sanctions, we should strive to work out product supplies with each Russian region, we need to come up with such forms of import substitution that would enable us to complement each other economically and facilitate the supply of common products to the markets of third countries,” the Gomel Oblast governor emphasized.

He added that cooperation with Russian regions is also important for Gomel Oblast itself: “75% of our exports go to the regions of the Russian Federation.”
