Belarus' ambassador meets with Russia's MGIMO rector to discuss diplomatic personnel training

Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik held a meeting with Rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) under the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Torkunov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission - reports BelTA.

"The focus of the meeting was the training of highly qualified personnel for the Belarusian diplomatic service", the press service said.

Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Anatoly Torkunov also discussed ways of boosting cooperation, matters regarding the Belarusian community association in MGIMO and the implementation of student initiatives with the support of Belarusian State University, MGIMO and the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.

"The parties agreed to hold a joint student forum in 2025", the press service added.
