Lukashenko to visit Kamenets District

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will go on a working trip to Kamenets District, Brest Oblast, BelTA informs.

The head of state will tour the Belovezhsky company where he will get a harvest update and discuss social and economic development of the region and the district.

Aleksandr Lukashenko is to study cultivation of various crops, the development of dairy farming and the construction of dairy complexes.

Earlier, on Sunday, the head of state assessed the state of harvesting in Minsk Oblast, Grodno Oblast and Brest Oblast from a helicopter. On Thursday, while receiving a report from Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats, Aleksandr Lukashenko announced plans to travel to the western part of Belarus and to focus on agriculture.
