Lukashenko to make working trip to Minsk District

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is paying a working visit to Minsk District, BelTA has learned.

The head of state is set to inspect a new residential area of low-rise houses Novaya Okolitsa. He will be briefed on the individual housing construction approaches.
The president is expected to get familiar with different variants of houses.
The general layout of the Novaya Okolitsa residential area (a total of 210 hectares) near the village of Okolitsa is under development.
The first stage of the project envisages the construction of 228 single-family houses with necessary engineering and transportation infrastructure on the area of 46.16 hectares.
Construction contractors are the Gomel, Soligorsk, Mogilev and Minsk house building plants, Brestzhilstroy, Grodnozhilstroy, Borisovzhilstroy, MinLesKhoz, Belarusian Cement Company and others.
The houses will differ both in total area (from 86.9 m2 to 139.8 m2) and in wall constructions (reinforced concrete panels, double beam, frame and panel, brick, cellular concrete blocks).
The project envisages 12 construction stages. Currently under implementation are the construction of engineering infrastructure (water intake, water supply and domestic sewage networks, local treatment facilities, power supply networks with the relevant infrastructure, communication networks; the construction of transport infrastructure (roads, passages, sidewalks), landscaping and fencing of territories.
