The full Moon in April is widely known as the Pink Moon, and this bright golden orb was a sight to behold for sky-gazers after it reached its peak on the night between 6 and 7 April, BelTA has learned.

April's full moon is named after the bright pink wildflower Phlox subulata that blooms in the spring. This year's April full moon is also the first full moon of spring, otherwise known as the Paschal full moon.
