According to the major of the city Sergey Sobyanin, the device has certain advantages compared to foreign systems.
"Automatic device for starting the heart during resuscitation was developed in Moscow. The system does an indirect heart massage, freeing the hands of doctors for other manipulations when saving people. Specialists think, that the development will increase the patient survival rate and will improve the quality of medical care," Sobyanin wrote.
Installation of the system takes only 20 seconds. It can be used in ambulances and medical institutions, the mayor added.
"In the near future, the capital's company plans to remotely link this system with a ventilator, thereby creating a unique resuscitation complex," Sobyanin underlined.
