The current situation around Belarus cannot be called normal, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas told BelTA on the sidelines of the meeting with MPs hosted by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 26 May, BelTA informs.

"Normal relations and normal communications have been broken," said Stanislav Zas. "This is a cause for concern. What is happening around Belarus cannot be called normal."

"A course of confrontation has been set. We need to take a pause, cool down to assess the situation and move on," the CSTO secretary general said.
