Belarus, Russia’s Samara Oblast plan to launch student exchange programs

The agro-industrial and technology universities of Belarus and Samara Oblast of Russia will launch student exchange programs, Governor of Samara Oblast Vyacheslav Fedorishchev told the media following a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on 21 July, BelTA learned.

“We agreed that next year we will hold the joint Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Samara and vice versa. For us it is very important,” Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said.

 

Another important topic discussed at the meeting with the Belarusian leader was cooperation in education. Vyacheslav Fedorishchev highlighted the areas of cooperation. They include the agro-industrial and technology universities that are also engaged in unmanned technology programs.

“We agreed that from next year we will give the opportunity to study at our universities to students Belarus. And, of course, we will discuss the same opportunity for our guys in Belarus,” Vyacheslav Fedorishchev added.
