Colonel Dmitry Ryabikhin, the deputy head of the International Military Cooperation Department at the Defense Ministry, outlined the conditions on which Belarus is willing to build dialogue and develop cooperation with other countries and how this is reflected in the new Military Doctrine as he talked to BelTA’s The Nation Speaks project.

Colonel Dmitry Ryabikhin, the deputy head of the International Military Cooperation Department at the Defense Ministry, outlined the conditions on which Belarus is willing to build dialogue and develop cooperation with other countries and how this is reflected in the new Military Doctrine as he talked to BelTA’s The Nation Speaks project.
"There are many changes in the new Military Doctrine related to international interaction. Unfortunately, the subjects of international law and international organizations are extremely limited in their ability to prevent military conflicts today. At the same time, Belarus is interested in restoring the role and place of international organizations. In particular, this concerns the UN and the OSCE," said Dmitry Ryabikhin. Belarus is also interested in maintaining international peace and security and preventing military conflicts.
"We are open to cooperation with all countries, but on condition that it is conducted without aggressive rhetoric and, above all, without aggressive actions against our country," Dmitry Ryabikhin noted.
