Belarusian air defense unit arrives in Russian military training area Telemba for live-fire exercise

Belarusian air defense units have reached the location where the second stage of a tactical exercise of the Air Force and Air Defense Command will take place, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

BelTA reported earlier that Belarusian air defense units went to the Russian military training area Telemba where the second stage of the exercise is supposed to take place. Taking part in the exercise are units of the 1st Air Defense Missile Regiment, the 377th Guards Air Defense Missile Regiment, and the 15th Air Defense Missile Brigade.

In a complicated environment full of jamming they will have to destroy aerial targets of the simulated enemy. The targets will pose as modern cruise missiles fired by air defense missile systems S-300.
